FHNW supports the further development of our sample container

28.05.2025
We are pleased to report on the successful collaboration with Laurent Feuz, Michael Grob, Daniel Zürcher and Magnus Kristiansen from the Institute of Polymer Nanotechnology INKA at the FHNW.

INKA provided us with significant support in the technical development of our existing sample container. As part of the project, precise measurements of the current sample container were first carried out. On this basis, targeted optimisations could be planned. Another important step was the testing of various plastic materials for their suitability for use in the Synchrotron beam. These detailed material analyses enabled the selection of possible materials to be narrowed down considerably. In addition, the FHNW also supported us in our search for a suitable industrial partner to manufacture a new injection moulding tool in Switzerland.
