20.10.2025 news Visit from VAT Vakuumventile AG and the University of Applied Sciences of Eastern Switzerland We recently welcomed Tobias Wassmer from VAT Vakuumventile AG and Ivo Lenherr from the University of Applied Sciences of Eastern Switzerland to our premises. After a brief round of introductions, they were given a tour of our premises and the large-scale research facilities at PSI. The product samples they brought with them helped us to better understand the challenges and requirements of VAT Vakuumventile AG. These will now be measured in an initial feasibility study using Synchrotron CT and Synchrotron Diffraction. We look forward to continuing our collaboration. More
