Completed customer project with Springfix: Investigation of the microstructure of coated steel with the help of Synchrotron Diffraction and scanning electron microscopy

The name Springfix stands for modern forming technology and metal-cutting further processing in medium and large series production. We supply automotive suppliers, building equipment manufacturers and the electrical industry worldwide.

Springfix steel moldings are used in innovative, modern lighting solutions, manufactured with the utmost care and efficiency from pre-painted or pre-galvanized strip material. The well known and adapted manufacturing process nevertheless leads from time to time to quality defects of the products. These defects originate in complex material and process engineering problems, which is why we need the cooperation of a practical analytical service provider who also has a sound knowledge of materials science and process engineering.

Event: QSmetalAM 2023 - What may added value cost?

Info & Networking Event on Thursday, June 29, 2023 at PSI Auditorium.
Successful AM solutions are characterized by the fact that they are understood and supported by the entire company. The additional benefits made possible by additive manufacturing - the "added value" - must be transported and communicated from the development department through marketing and sales to the customer.
