Together with the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland (FHWN), we are currently carrying out a P5 project on the topic of ‘Businesstools’.

Together with our employees and the executive board, we celebrated our 5th anniversary yesterday.

This week, our team used our latest cobot infrastructure (ANAXArM) at the BM18 imaging beamline of the European Synchrotron Radiation Facility (ESRF) in Grenoble.

This week our team achieved a new ANAXAM record at the diffraction beamline ID31 of the European Synchrotron Radiation Facility (ESRF) in Grenoble.

We are happy to announce that our paper “Microstructures, phase and mechanical characterisation of Al2O3-ZrO2-TiO2 coating produced by atmospheric plasma spraying” is accepted to Open Ceramics. For this publication we worked together with Armando Salito (Gulhfi AG), Michael de Wild & Lukas Graf (FHNW), Margie Olbinado & Michal Andrzejewski (PSI), Susanne Erpel & Alexander Vogel & Marcus Wyss (SNI), Geoffrey Darut (CNRS) and Simon Bode (KIT).

Last week we visited BRUGG Lifting in Birr. First, Michael Siegfried, CTO of BRUGG Lifting, gave us a detailed company presentation.
We were then given a tour of the production facilities and visited the test benches and the quality department. It was very exciting to see how a finished lift rope is created from a single wire. We then had the opportunity to introduce ANAXAM to the Engineering & Quality team from BRUGG Lifting. We also went into detail about the measurements that we have already carried out for the BRUGG Group AG.

On 27 August, a group from the Aargau section of the Swiss Engineering Association visited Park Innovaare. After a presentation of Park Innovaare by CEO Robert Rudolph and a tour of the park's premises, our CTO Matthias Wagner presented the possibilities of applied material analysis with Neutron and Synchrotron radiation at ANAXAM.

We welcomed representatives from the Zimmer Group and Asytec AG this week.
