Joint development project with Hitachi Energy: Binder burnout of varistors analysed live for the first time using Neutron-CT

Our tailor-made high-temperature furnace makes it possible to investigate the binder burnout of varistors in-situ. The control system allows freely programmable temperature curves of up to 600°C to be run and the varistor to be tomographed in the process.

The initial results look very promising.
